This page lists AI video tools and ranks none of them. As of 2026-10-27 it holds five tool pages, Hailuo, Kling, Seedance, Sora and Veo, and points to the Higgsfield section. Before you open one, check what you would pay for: a model, an app or a platform.
Model, app or platform? How to read this list
In this list (2026-10-21), a model is the engine that makes the clip, such as Kling 3.0. An app is the model maker’s own site, such as kling.ai, where you buy credits from that maker. A platform hosts models from several makers under one account and one credit balance. Higgsfield is a platform: its pricing page lists Kling models from Kling 2.1 to Kling 3.0 next to models from other makers (higgsfield.ai/pricing, crawled 2026-10-20).
The two paths do not carry the same models. Kling’s own membership page features Kling 4.0 (kling.ai, 2026-10-21), and the Higgsfield crawl of 2026-10-20 does not list it. That crawl does list seven Sora 2 rows, although OpenAI set the Sora API to end on 2026-09-24 (help.openai.com, fetched 2026-10-21). Whether those rows still render: not verified as of 2026-10-21.
Each place also has its own credit unit, so compare the price per clip, not the credit count. A user on r/HiggsfieldAI asked it plainly: “Is Kling on Higgsfield cheaper than using Kling directly?” (2026-07-10). The Kling page answers with Kling’s dated prices and links our per-clip break-even. For the platform side, see Higgsfield credit costs per clip.
Users disagree on what a platform adds. One calls Higgsfield “a thinly veiled wrapper for the models” (r/HiggsfieldAI, 2026-04-16). Another replies that “every AI tool is a wrapper of something at this point” (r/HiggsfieldAI, 2026-03-31). We take no side here; the tool pages show what each path costs and what it lacks.
Tool reviews
Five tool pages are live as of 2026-10-27: Hailuo, Kling, Seedance, Sora and Veo. We hold no account with Kling or OpenAI, so those two pages quote the vendor with a date and report no run of ours. The Seedance page reports one clip of ours, made on Higgsfield on 2026-10-26. The Hailuo page reports one Hailuo 2.3 clip of ours, and the Veo page three Veo 3.1 runs that were refused, with no clip, all on Higgsfield on 2026-10-27.
- Google Veo 3 free: every access path, and what our test showed
- Hailuo AI: watermarked free tier, plans, cancel, and what one clip cost us
- Kling AI Image to Video: What Is Free, What Costs What
- Seedance: where to use it, what’s free and real clip costs
- Sora AI Video Generator Free: Sora Is Discontinued, Here Is What to Use
In one line each:
- Hailuo: the Hailuo AI site and its models. The free tier and plans as Hailuo’s pricing page and terms state them, the cancel rule, and what one Hailuo 2.3 clip of ours cost on Higgsfield (2026-10-27).
- Kling: the maker’s own site. Plans with first-month and renewal prices, Kling’s free-credit wording (it publishes no free amount) and how long each credit type stays valid, checked on kling.ai on 2026-10-21.
- Seedance: ByteDance Seed’s video model. The routes its maker links, why no free route is verified, US availability, and what one clip of ours cost on Higgsfield (2026-10-26).
- Sora: discontinued. OpenAI closed the Sora web and app on 2026-04-26 and set the API to end on 2026-09-24 (help.openai.com, fetched 2026-10-21). The page covers the export link, the refund path, “free Sora” sites that are not OpenAI’s Sora, and options for the same jobs.
- Veo: Google’s video model. Which Google routes name Veo 3.1 or Gemini Omni, where Google’s own pages disagree on free use (checked 2026-10-27), and three Veo 3.1 runs of ours on Higgsfield that were refused, so no clip.
Where Higgsfield’s review lives
Higgsfield’s review sits in its own section, not in this list (2026-10-21). Higgsfield is a platform rather than one model, so it has no tool page here. The Higgsfield section explains what it hosts and links the Higgsfield review, with its pricing and free-plan pages beside it. Our own test runs so far took place on Higgsfield, on 2026-10-21, 2026-10-26 and 2026-10-27.
How we check free limits and access
As of 2026-10-21 we test only inside Higgsfield, on a paid Plus plan account. For every other tool, free limits and access terms are the vendor’s own wording, quoted with the date we fetched it. When a vendor publishes no number, we print none; Kling states no free credit amount, so the Kling page shows none. A claim we could not confirm reads "not verified as of <date>“, and a run we did not do reads ”not tested". We re-check prices and free limits at least every 30 days; the full method is on how we test.
Tools we track next
As of 2026-10-27, the next tools on our list are Runway and Dreamina/CapCut. Neither has a page yet, so neither is linked here. Both are “not tested” on this site. We print no price or free limit for either. The order is our publishing queue, not a ranking.
Which page should you open first?
Start from what you already hold (pages checked 2026-10-21). If you have a Kling account or Kling credits, open the Kling page. If you came looking for Sora, open the Sora page before you pay any site that uses its name. For Seedance 2.0, the Seedance page maps the official routes and the look-alike sites. For Hailuo, the Hailuo page sets its free tier, plans and cancel rule next to one clip of ours. For Google Veo, the Veo page maps Google’s own routes before any “free Veo 3” site. If you want one account for several models, read the Higgsfield section first. Then compare its per-clip cost with Kling’s direct price.
